Every Plan Needs a Strong Defense

Every strong financial plan has two sides: offense and defense. Offense is the saving, investing, and tax strategy that grows what you've built. Defense is making sure the unexpected - illness, disability, an early death, or a loss to your home and property - doesn't undo it. We shop your coverage across 60 carriers to find the strongest fit, then coordinate every layer into one complete defense.

Why Does Insurance Planning Belong Inside Your Financial Plan?

Every dollar you've saved, invested, and grown took years of discipline to build. One accident, one diagnosis, one injury can undo it all in a single moment if the right coverage isn't in place. That's the real purpose of insurance: it isn't a bill you pay and forget, it's how you shift the risk of a catastrophic event off your shoulders and onto an insurance company's, so one unexpected event can never erase what you've spent a lifetime building.

Beyond Products and Payments

What Does a Strategic Coverage Review Actually Look Like?

Every layer of coverage has a clear purpose, built right the first time, then reviewed as your life changes.

Life Insurance

Term and permanent serve different purposes, from replacing income during your working years to building lasting estate liquidity. We help find the right fit, or combination, coordinated with your estate plan.

Long-Term Care

How your care gets funded matters as much as the coverage itself. We help you choose between a standalone policy and a long-term care rider, so benefits are there when you need them.

Disability Insurance

The definition of "disability" in your policy determines whether it pays. We look closely at how your coverage, including any employer policy, actually protects your income.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What's the difference between term and permanent life insurance, and how do I know which is right for me?

It depends on what you're solving for. Term is often the right fit for a defined period of need, like protecting your income while your kids are young or a mortgage is still outstanding. Permanent coverage tends to make more sense for longer-term goals, like estate liquidity or leaving a guaranteed legacy. Many of our clients use a combination of both rather than choosing just one.

  • Is a standalone long-term care policy still the best way to cover this risk?

Not usually, at least not the way it once was. Standalone long-term care policies were the default for years, but many came with rising premiums and the risk of paying in for decades without ever using the benefit. Today, we more often use a long-term care rider built into a permanent life insurance policy, which can pay out for long-term care if you need it, or a death benefit for your family if you don't. Either way, the coverage doesn't go to waste.

  • When should I review my life insurance policy?

As a general guideline, whenever something major changes. A marriage, a new child, a new mortgage, a shift in income, is a good time to look at your coverage again. Beyond that, we recommend revisiting it periodically rather than letting it sit untouched for a decade.

  • Do you handle home, auto, or other property insurance directly?

Not directly. That side of insurance works differently, comparison shopping across carriers to find the best rate. We coordinate this piece of your plan through our sister company, Victory Insurance Group, so it stays connected to your overall strategy rather than sitting as a separate policy no one is tracking.
